Few pictures

This looks disgusting, right? But it tasted delicious!? I made shrimps with soya flour and egg. I fried it with some oil - and yummi! IF i didn't get a little help for controling my eating habits, I would have eaten up to 300gr of it - oops!
The soup/vegetable has some carrot, spinach, zucchini in and little bit of spices: Chili, garlic and salt.

Fish and lunch

EID MUBARAK. I'm invited to EID celebration today, and thought of bringing some food. After some thinking, I came up with making some fish - with egg and soyaflour. I do use soya alot, but can't expect everyone else to like, so I had to make it look ok, and it has to be tasty! Being the weird one, I can't taste the fish till tonight, so I hope I did good enough.

The fish - with egg, and then the soya. I mixed the soya flour with some soya "cubes" to get it a little cruncy. Then some chili and paprika in it, for the taste :)

I have rather small kitchen. But I try my best to keep it organized while cooking - without success at times. I can't complain much about this time, even though I had some bowls here and there;and the weight ofcourse!

Anyway. Back to the fish and the cooking. I fried the fish with some oil ... (I don't know the reason for why it looks soapy on the picture!)

And the results! :)

Cooking - day

I didn't have school today. The plan was to read a little - even though I should read more than that. But. on my way to get something to drink around noon I got stuck in the kitchen! I could hear all that food asking me to be cooked, and I couldn't say no! Here's the results! :)

Lets start with the soya beans. I never tried to cook them myself, but a friend gave me some to try last weekend. I loved it, and found lots of opportunities to use it with my food! So now it was my turn

It had to stay in water for 1 night before I started to next step. You can put all kind of spices, but I tried with chili, paprika and some curry. Then I fried it on a pan. I see now when looking through the pictures that there is missing 1 picture. After frying (with a little oil) I put it in the owen to get it dry again. After the owen it's ready and can be eaten as any other snack, or on your salat. Do what suit you the best.

More cooking. Shrimps. I recently tried shrimps again after long break. Remembering that I never liked it before I was being a little unsure about if I should try or not. I did love it! And today was a great day for having some ...

Mixed with little garlic, mustard and patak's oil/spices. I don't think it was necessary, but i waited 2 hours after mixing it till I fried it on a pan (mostly, cause I didn't have time to eat earlier).

And some Butternut-squash in the owen.

And I got this perfect meal for lunch! :)

Tea!

Tea, tea, tea! I love it. Here is our (mine, and my flatmate) collection, and we even have a little more hiding away in the cupboard. I know it’s not food, but it takes big part in my everyday life, so I thought it needs to be mentioned in the first post here.

My love: 0.8L tea cup!
